Gardening

We’ve been gardening here at St Philip’s! Chris and Patricia worked together to tidy the borders in the cool of a Sunday evening, while Josh mowed the grass. Now that it’s looking neater, we hope that people can use the memorial garden to find some peace and quiet to take time out and reflect. Bible Study

Our Bible study group have started a new venture: to read through the Gospel of Mark. We’re reading slowly and mindfully through this wonderful book, taking time to ask questions, reflect, and think about how it applies to our own lives.

It can be hard to join in with a new study group but we’d encourage anyone even slightly interested to join us for a session and have a go! Attendees have expressed that after joining, they have noticed more confidence in expressing their views, and enjoy hearing other people’s ideas.

Summer Project

This Summer, we’re flinging wide the gates to open up to our community and organising a wide range of events! From kids’ club to gigs on the green, there’s something for everyone this Summer at St Philip’s. To find out more, read here.
